So, I've been wanting to do a Waiting on Wednesday post since I read Obsidian by Jennifer L. Armentrout years ago. But.. I didn't have a blog then, annnd... I do Now!! :D

Welcome to the cursed town of Sparrow…
Where, two centuries ago, three sisters were sentenced to death for witchery. Stones were tied to their ankles and they were drowned in the deep waters surrounding the town.
Now, for a brief time each summer, the sisters return, stealing the bodies of three weak-hearted girls so that they may seek their revenge, luring boys into the harbor and pulling them under.

Apparently this is "Hocus Pocus and Practical Magic meets Salam Witch trials" ... I don't know about you, but I've seen both of those movies and loved them! And, I've always been fascinated with the history of the Salam Witch trials! So, I am quite interested to read this and see what unfolds :)
What book(s) are you eagerly awaiting?! I'd love to know!
I'm also looking forward to The Wicked Deep :) And ever since Naomi Novik revealed the cover of her new stand-alone, I can't wait for Spinning Silver this summer!
ReplyDeleteI'm glad you mentioned Spinning Silver. I hadn't heard of it, and had to go look it up.. It sounds like something I'd like to read! I'll be keeping my eye out for it in July :) Have you read Uprooted? It too looks like it would be a good read!
